The Badger Meter HRE, HRE LCD with High Resolution, and ADE encoder registers are designed to deliver accurate, reliable water usage data for AMR/AMI systems and advanced utility monitoring applications. The HRE mechanical encoder uses durable non-contact LED technology with an

8-digit resolution, while the HRE LCD High Resolution encoder provides a fully electronic, sealed LCD display with 9-digit resolution, leak detection, reverse flow indication, and advanced alarm monitoring capabilities. ADE encoder registers offer dependable encoded output for utility meter reading systems and are commonly used with Badger Meter Recordal®, Turbo Series, Compound Series, and Fire Service meters to support efficient remote data collection and system integration.

The High Resolution Encoder (HR-E) features a straight reading, permanently sealed, magnetic drive and communicates using the industry standard ASCII communication protocol to provide a high resolution encoded output.

The 8-dial High Resolution Encoder (HR-E®) uses non-contact, field-proven, light-emitting diode technology to provide an 8-digit reading, while also eliminating the friction and wear of traditional mechanical encoders.

Endpoint Compatibility. Compatible with Badger Meter ORION@ family of endpoints and other approved technologies.
Durable Design. Built with a unique adhesive sealing technology to withstand harsh environments, including flooded pits.
